The Digital Communications Client Service role at Teneo is an Associate Director position responsible for significantly contributing to the company's reputation, profitable growth, and client retention.
Digital Client Service Associate Directors play a key role in leading top client accounts and supporting teams to deliver exceptional results. They inspire innovative thinking, actively contribute to our culture, and take on a mentor/coach role to develop talent within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
We strive to deliver outstanding results for our clients and build lasting trust and appreciation. As an Associate Director, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Leading daily client account delivery and ensuring high standards are met
2. Serving as a trusted client advisor, building strong relationships at all levels of the client organization
3. Exhibiting strong listening and influencing skills, effectively challenging briefs with evidence and experience
4. Managing projects profitably, with clear scope of work and agreed expectations
5. Creating budgets with a deep understanding of delivered value and providing timely, accurate client budget information internally and externally
6. Demonstrating expertise in digital campaigns, presenting confidently to colleagues outside the client team, and bringing additional expertise to enhance client impact as needed
7. Potential to work on non-digital creative campaigns, including radio, print, broadcast, DOOH, and OOH
8. Maintaining awareness of legislative requirements for digital across industries, including e-privacy, accessibility, pharmacovigilance, and alcohol marketing
9. Leading with a collaborative style, proactively building a deep understanding of other areas of expertise and applying this knowledge to benefit clients
10. Driving growth and new revenue from existing clients and new business lead generation, including networking to identify opportunities and develop the consultancy's reputation
11. Leading pitch processes effectively, developing plans based on clear insight and audience understanding
12. Serving as a strong leader to juniors and cross-functional internal and external teams
13. Providing strong team management and leadership to support career development through mentoring and coaching within teams and across the consultancy
Essential Skills & Experience
1. Social and digital strategy development
2. Creative brief-writing and execution
3. Knowledge of digital media buying across social, search, and display
4. KPI setting and measurement experience
5. Experience running campaigns across major social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, X, Meta, and TikTok
6. Experience in other media formats, such as broadcast and print (ideal but not necessary)
7. A good grasp of English language: grammar and written elements of copywriting may be required
8. Significant experience in managing team workflow and projects, as well as junior employee career development
