This position is ideal for an experienced Audit Senior who enjoys managing a varied client portfolio, mentoring junior staff, and gaining exposure to a broad range of sectors within a practice recognised for its quality, professionalism, and collaborative culture.
As an Audit Senior, your responsibilities will include: Planning, managing, and leading audits for a diverse portfolio of SME and corporate clients.
Supervising, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior team members.
Preparing statutory financial statements and assisting with regulatory submissions.
Overseeing monthly and quarterly management accounts and reconciliations.
Reviewing cash flow, managing supplier payments, and performing overhead analysis.
Building strong client relationships and providing meaningful financial insights and recommendations.
Supporting senior management with ad-hoc projects and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with a minimum of 1 years post-qualification experience.
Previous experience in a practice environment, with a particular focus on audit, is essential.
Strong technical knowledge across audit, accounting, and compliance.
Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships efficiently.
Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team.
