Overview Join Stantec as a Senior Project Engineer – Water Networks.
You will lead the design, documentation and delivery of sustainable water treatment and network projects across Ireland, ensuring technical excellence and regulatory compliance from concept to completion.
Responsibilities As a technical leader you will: Develop innovative designs for complex network infrastructure, pumping stations and groundwater abstraction sites.
Prepare and compile critical documentation such as feasibility studies, multi‑criteria assessments and tender packages.
Coordinate with internal specialists, clients and contractors to secure planning and regulatory approvals.
Maintain quality assurance of all project drawings and technical inputs, consistently exceeding client expectations.
Qualifications Minimum Level 8 third‑level degree (or equivalent) in a relevant Engineering discipline.
Significant post‑qualification experience in water sector design (networks, treatment or infrastructure).
Deep professional and technical knowledge of water networks and infrastructure design principles.
Competence in industry‑standard software relevant to water network design (e.g., hydraulic modelling packages, CAD).
