Job Title: Nursing Director Assistant
Job Description
The role of the Nursing Director Assistant is to support the hospital in achieving its goals and objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading real-time operational oversight of patient flow within the emergency department and across the wider urgent care pathway.
This includes collaborating with clinical teams, managing resources, and developing strategies to optimize patient flow pathways. Additionally, the candidate will participate in demand and capacity planning, winter planning, and surge management.
In this role, you will also ensure effective triage, streaming, assessment, treatment admission discharge processes are implemented. You must work collaboratively with stakeholders to reduce delays in transfers of care from ED to clinical areas.
Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in nursing leadership experience at least 7 years post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting including recent Clinical Nurse Manager level experience preferably as ADON or equivalent role qualified by NMBI.
