My client, a reputable accountancy practice with offices in Tralee and Castleisland, is currently seeking an experienced Qualified Accountant/ Part Qualified to join their team.
The Role Accounts Preparation: Prepare financial statements for a wide range of clients including SMEs, sole traders, and partnerships, ensuring compliance with Irish accounting standards.
Tax Compliance & Advisory: Manage and review VAT, PAYE, RCT, Corporation Tax, and Income Tax returns.
Provide timely and practical tax planning advice to clients.
Client Relationship Management: Serve as a trusted advisor and main point of contact for clients, ensuring their compliance and financial reporting obligations are met.
Revenue Engagement: Handle queries and correspondence with Revenue, assist in audits, and ensure accurate and timely filing of all r Candidate Profile Professional Qualifications: Fully qualified ACA or ACCA.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a practice environment with hands-on experience in accounts preparation and tax compliance.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Irish tax laws and accounting standards.
Tech Skills: Proficient in accounting packages such as Surf Accounts, Sage, Xero, or similar.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and client service skills.
Organisation: Strong time management with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
