Transfer Agency Team Lead Position
This is a senior leadership role within the transfer agency team.
* Oversight of dealing transactions through internal systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and client standards.
* Day-to-day oversight of the document management process, ensuring timely and accurate scanning of investor instructions into the workflow system.
* Investigation and resolution of enquiries and exceptions, communication with internal departments, other banks, and brokerage firms.
* Preparation of financial reports ensuring conformity to professional and regulatory requirements.
* Work flow distribution and effective use of resources within the team.
* On-the-job technical training and coaching for team members.
* Organizing team work, assigning tasks, setting priorities, monitoring activities, and ensuring timely completion of work.
* Maintenance of procedures and adherence to them on a daily basis.
* Assistance in establishing goals and objectives for the team.
* Generation of process and system enhancement ideas.
Key Responsibilities:
The Transfer Agency Team Lead will oversee various aspects of the transfer agency team, including processing and quality checking of dealing transactions, document management, investigation and resolution of enquiries, and preparation of financial reports.
The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, leadership and organizational skills, and ability to set priorities and manage deadlines. A College or University degree and/or relevant work experience are required, with supervisory experience being desirable.
