You will lead a team responsible for management accounts, bank reconciliations, and service charge reporting, while also contributing to long-term financial planning and digital transformation initiatives.
Lead monthly variance analysis and management reporting Oversee fixed asset and capital grant reconciliations for a £600m+ property portfolio Manage service charge budgeting and quarterly reporting Support long-term financial planning and investment appraisal for a £50m annual development programme Drive improvements in financial procedures, systems, and controls Represent finance in system upgrades and cross-functional projects Lead and develop a high-performing finance team Liaise with auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders Contribute to strategic planning and organisational development What you'll need to succeed Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 3-5 years PQE Proven experience in financial management and team leadership Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (SORP/IFRS) Experience with financial systems and process improvement Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage competing priorities and drive change Experience in the housing or not-for-profit sector is desirable What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
