Job Title: Office & Accounts Assistant
As our small business continues to grow, we are looking for a reliable and organised Accounts & Office Assistant to join a growing team. This role combines bookkeeping with general office management, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Office administration including answering phones & responding to emails
* Supporting management with day-to-day office operations
* General administrative duties as required
* Accounts Payable: processing supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations
* Accounts Receivable: recording customer payments, issuing invoices and monitoring outstanding balances
* Payroll & Allowances - Input attendance details, manage the service-user payroll system, and handle queries related to allowances and welfare.
Essential:
* Previous experience in an administrative or office support role.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
* Experience in bookkeeping, Credit control, accounts payable/receivable, or payroll.
* Knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Sage)
Desirable:
* Experience in [construction/engineering/professional services] industry.
* Experience in Field Service Software such as EZ Management.
* Familiarity with HR administration processes.
* Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
