Our client is a small organisation seeking to appoint a Finance Officer who will report into the CEO and co-ordinate all aspects of finance across a number of sites. They are embarking on a significant restructure of their finances and in the process of centralising their finance function and migrating all financial responsiblity in-house. This pivotal role will work wtih the leadership team and manage all current aspects of financial administration working closely with their external accountants. It is a lovely organisation operating through the Irish Language so this role will be performed in Irish. Role Responsibilities Manage financial administration Accounts Payable Support external accountants with all aspects of accounts preparation Manage the audit Manage grant applications and government funding requirements Lead and develop small team Support on restructuring project including financial systems review and development Oversee annual insurance renewals and manage ongoing coverage needs Oversee financial aspects of grant applications and reporting, ensuring compliance with funder terms Contribute to the broader organisational growth and strategic initiatives Candidate Requirements: Minimum 3 years experience in a similar finance role Fluent in Irish language Strong analytical skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
