Head of Enterprise Architecture - Digital TransformationDublin City Centre- 4 days a week onsiteContract Length: initial 12 monthsThe OpportunityKorn Ferry are seeking a Head of Enterprise Architecture to work with our client, a well-respected financial services client in Ireland. This is to provide strategic leadership and governance across its digital transformation programme. This role will set the architectural vision, principles, and standards that guide delivery teams, including multiple squads delivering technology and business change.The successful candidate will combine hands-on technical expertise with senior leadership gravitas, influencing stakeholders at all levels, shaping technology strategy, and ensuring end-to-end alignment of business and IT capabilities.Key Responsibilities· Define and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives and digital transformation goals· Lead architecture across multiple technology domains, including applications, data, integration, infrastructure, and security· Partner with CTO, IT leadership, and delivery teams to ensure architectural standards are applied consistently across squads· Review and approve technical designs, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and compliance with enterprise standards· Provide governance, oversight, and guidance on solution architecture, integrations, and emerging technology adoption· Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Delivery Leads to embed architectural thinking into day-to-day delivery· Build and mentor a high-performing architecture team, fostering capability growth and knowledge sharing· Act as a visible, senior presence within the Dublin city centre delivery teams, promoting architectural best practices and cross-team alignmentRequired Experience & Skills· Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or Head of Architecture in complex, regulated environments, preferably financial services (wealth management)· Strong hands-on technical background across applications, data, integration, and cloud technologies· Demonstrated ability to define architecture strategy, frameworks, and governance across large programmes· Experience leading multiple squads or teams in a delivery-focused agile environment· Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to influence senior executives and delivery teams alike· Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability in ambiguous or complex scenarios· Gravitas, credibility, and presence to lead architecture discussions at executive and delivery levelsWhy Apply· Strategic, high-profile leadership role in a major digital transformation at one of Ireland's leading financial institutions· Influence the future technology landscape and shape the architecture vision end-to-end· Lead and mentor a talented architecture function· Work in a collaborative, on-site / hybrid environment in Dublin city centre· Opportunity to make a tangible, lasting impact across multiple business domainsAbout Korn Ferry*Korn Ferry unleashes potential in people, teams, and organizations.
