Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive HR Administrator to support the delivery of high-quality HR services across the business. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, training coordination, and general HR administration.
The position will initially be offered on a part-time basis days per week), with the potential to transition to a full-time role as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and update employee records in the HR system.
* Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and liaising with candidates.
* Prepare contracts, offer letters, and onboarding documentation.
* Support the induction process for new employees.
* Monitor and track employee timesheets, absences, holidays, and sickness records.
* Assist in organising training sessions and maintaining training records.
* Respond to employee queries and provide administrative support across HR functions.
* Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
* Support payroll processing by providing accurate employee data.
* Assist with HR reporting and data analysis.
Requirements
Essential:
* Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an HR environment.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Desirable:
* Experience with HR software (e.g. Bright HR or similar platforms)
* CIPD qualification or working towards it.
* Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
