Location: Sandyford, Co. Dublin
We are seeking a Mortgage Product Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to join the leading challenger in the Irish mortgage market at an exciting time. You will lead and support with our mortgage acquisition and retention strategy, designing and delivering plans which ensure that customer and commercial goals are met. The role is highly visible across the business and will require independent interaction with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Mortgage Products & Propositions. In addition to strong financial services industry knowledge, with a focus on mortgages, you will share our passion to challenge the status quo in mortgages and bring new innovations to Ireland. You will use your skills, expertise, and can-do attitude to help us grow the business through effective implementation of our strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Enhancing and managing our mortgage acquisition and retention strategy and capabilities.
* Product and book management strategies, including the design, build and launch of new propositions, helping achieve commercial goals and meeting the needs of our customers.
* Customer engagement – owning website content and other customer collateral, maintaining high quality content, aligned with the Avant Money brand and values while ensuring ongoing accuracy.
* Partnerships – working with selected 3rd parties to enhance our customer proposition.
* Change management – planning & delivering appropriate business change.
* Product marketing – design, planning and execution of mortgage campaigns.
* Product monitoring – ongoing oversight of mortgage book in line with regulatory and business expectations, including CRPA regulatory requirements.
* Product development & management - maintaining a strong challenger value proposition customer experience excellence across multiple channels.
* Competitor monitoring, market, and customer research analysis, staying on top of relevant industry developments.
* You will be required to contribute to the mortgage leadership team, working collaboratively, flexibly and at pace with a range of stakeholders to achieve our goals.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years’ product management experience in the Irish or international financial services.
* Be able to demonstrate a track record managing commercial, product development and marketing projects with a clear return on investment.
* Strong results orientation with a record of hitting demanding product sales/retention targets.
* Good commercial acumen; highly numerate and analytical with an understanding of P&L drivers (sales, conversion, revenue, yield etc).
* Robust understanding of the Irish commercial, operational and regulatory environment for mortgages.
* Self-motivated with ability to work independently, with a focus on action and progress.
* Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally.
* Strong communicator and adept at presenting to diverse groups up to senior management level.
* Strong awareness of the housing and mortgage markets and the industry generally.
* Expertise in the development and management of digital channels.
