Role Overview: They wish to recruit an experienced Senior Corporate Solicitor to join our client's dynamic Corporate team.
This leadership role involves managing a team of legal professionals and providing strategic legal advice on a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial matters.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in steering complex transactions and ensuring compliance with legal standards.
Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of solicitors and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives to provide tailored legal strategies.
Transactional Work: Lead and oversee complex corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and venture capital investments.
Corporate Governance: Advise clients on corporate governance issues, statutory compliance, and regulatory matters.
Contract Negotiation and Drafting: Negotiate and draft a wide range of corporate contracts, ensuring clarity and legal soundness.
Risk Management: Identify legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues, safeguarding clients' interests.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as Commercial Property and Employment Law, to provide comprehensive legal services.
Business Development: Contribute to the firm's growth by identifying new business opportunities and participating in marketing initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Solicitor in Northern Ireland or England and Wales, with a valid Practising Certificate Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in corporate law, with a proven track record in handling complex transactions.
Demonstrated expertise in mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, and governance.
Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing legal teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
High level of commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
