Unijobs are currently looking to recruit a Part-Time Administrator for the Student Affairs Division at the University of Limerick.
The role is until the end of August **** with the possibility of extension thereafter.
The rate of pay is starting at €***** per hour and is part-time, working 17.5 hours per week.
Job Purpose To support the efficient operation of the Student Health Centre by providing administrative assistance, with a particular focus on digital communications, appointment coordination, and service promotion.
Key Responsibilities of the role: Assist with appointment scheduling and follow-up communications.
Manage and respond to student queries received via email and telephone in a timely manner.
Create, schedule, and publish engaging content to target audiences using social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook and to review analytics to assess performance.
Contribute to the promotion of SHC services and health campaigns across campus.
To maintain the SHC website, ensuring all content is accurate and regularly updated.
Support data entry and record-keeping in Socrates and other systems.
Help with reporting, audits, and service evaluations.
Provide cover and support for the full-time administrator during busy periods and holiday leave.
Contribute to the development of quality assurance procedures and continual improvement in the SHC under the direction of the Senior Administrator/Practice Manager.
Other duties which may be assigned by the Practice Manager of the SHC.
Essential Criteria: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
High level of proficiency in a wide variety of Microsoft Office applications and software systems.
Demonstrated ability to engage with audiences across social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
Minimum 3 years' experience in administrative or customer service roles.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks and workload.
Ability to efficiently manage high call volumes in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment.
Ability to take initiative and devise innovative solutions (including IT) to day-to-day problems.
Ability to work independently, flexibly and as part of a team.
High level of discretion and confidentiality.
High level of accuracy and close attention to detail.
A customer-centred mindset to manage patient interactions, appointments, and queries, with professionalism and empathy.
Desirable Criteria: Familiarity with healthcare settings or student services.
Experience with medical databases (Socrates), web editing (Drupal), or similar systems.
Knowledge of UL branding, standards, policies and procedures in relation to social media and published material.
