Responsibilities
* Tackle, understand and make sense of complex scientific concepts for others.
* Complete background research and create a customer persona profile.
* Write scripts for marketing videos that effectively communicate the benefits of our clients' services and products.
* Write blog posts, white papers, and other marketing materials that engage our clients' target audiences and score well on SEO tests.
* Work closely with our video production team to ensure your content is visually engaging and meets our clients' branding and marketing goals.
* Research and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the laboratory service industry
* Collaborate with our clients to understand their unique offerings and target audience and tailor content accordingly.
* Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
* Publish articles on the WordPress site.
Qualifications
* Relevant Portfolio > Years Experience
* This role could be for you if you have a degree in a scientific field (Ag Science, Environmental Science, Microbiology) and are now considering a role in marketing and copywriting.
* This role is also for you if you have a background in science or experience in the field and a communications or marketing degree.
* Good English language writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to write in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
* Bonus: Knowledge of laboratory service industry terminology and concepts
