Accounting Role
The ideal candidate will join a construction supply company as an Accounting professional, working closely with the company accountant and FD on daily tasks. This role is based in an office setting.
Duties include:
* Production of monthly accounts to review stage
* Reclaim Construction Tax (RCT)
* Revenue management
* Cash-flow analysis and reporting
* Accounts Payable
* Credit control
* Reconciliations
* Budget and forecasting
* Financial analysis
* Support the Financial Controller with ad-hoc finance duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years experience in a similar accounting role with exposure to the above duties
* Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and budget management
* Experience in the construction industry not required but advantageous.
* Part-qualification - ACCA / CIMA or similar desired but not essential
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work well within a small team and take on additional duties as required
* Own transport and driving licence necessary, as the office is based rurally.
