Design Manager – Technical FacilitiesLocation:Leixlip, IrelandSalary:€85,000 – €105,000 + packageSector:Data Centres | Pharmaceutical | High-Tech / IndustrialEmployer:Leading General ContractorThe RoleA leading internationalgeneral contractoris seeking an experiencedDesign Managerto support the delivery of complextechnical facilities projectsin Ireland, based from Leixlip.The Design Manager will play a critical role in managing and coordinating allconstruction and design deliverables, ensuring alignment with construction requirements, programme, and the Client's expectations on high-value, technically demanding projects.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all construction and design deliverables in line with construction requirements and the Client's expectationsCoordinate all construction and design matters between key project stakeholders, including the Client, Design Team, third-party specialist designers, Contractor, and Design / Project DirectorReview and monitor the Design Team's and contractor's construction and design processes, procedures, and quality management plansEnsure timely distribution of all construction and design information and documentation to relevant partiesManage the review of key design milestone deliverables, ensuring quality, constructability, and coordination of design changesImplement and oversee Quality Assurance processes in line with the design consultants' contracted scope of servicesReview and recommend control sample requirements and coordinate approvals with the Design Team, Client, and ContractorReview and manage construction and design-related queries through to amicable resolutionManage, coordinate, and control all meetings relating to construction, design, and specialist contractor shop drawings, ensuring full integration with overall project design requirementsRequirementsProven experience working as a Design Manager on complex construction projectsBackground working for a general contractor or main contractorExperience within data centres, pharmaceutical, high-tech, or industrial projects preferredStrong understanding of design management, design coordination, and constructabilityExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple design interfaces and specialist packages concurrentlyFluent English requiredWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary between €85,000 – €115,000, depending on experienceAttractive package including benefits and allowancesLong-term project pipeline within Ireland's high-growth technical facilities marketOpportunity to work on large-scale, technically complex projects with a leading contractor
