The Role
Based on site for the duration of the project (approximately
2 years
), you will support the commercial and cost management aspects of the works, reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting with cost control and budget management
* Measurement, valuations, and preparation of interim applications
* Subcontractor procurement and account administration
* Managing variations and change control
* Supporting the preparation and agreement of final accounts
* Working closely with site management and engineering teams
Requirements
* Graduate to 4 years' experience
in a Quantity Surveying role (contractor or consultancy background considered)
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
* Exposure to
civil engineering, groundworks, or remediation projects
is an advantage
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work on site as part of a collaborative project team
* Full driving licence preferred
