You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, research, compliance, and operational teams to ensure robust, ethical, and effective data use.Job OverviewOn a given day, your work might include:Supporting fraud screening processes and investigating anomalies through behavioral data analysis.Formulating hypotheses and performing reproducible, testable research to understand user behavior and novel threats.Creating and maintaining SQL queries for database exploration and quality assurance.Developing and deploying internal tools and APIs to improve data workflows.Performing ad-hoc and structured data analysis, including cleaning, modelling and validation.Maintaining dashboards and analytical platforms.Writing clear technical documentation and research reports.UI testing and analysis.Collaborating on software onboarding, platform assessment, and compliance reviews.An ideal Data Analytics Specialist would be:Detail-oriented and skilled in identifying patterns and anomalies in large datasets.Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R).Skilled in RESTful APIs, JSON payloads, Snowflake, React experience, Splunk, Git and Tableau.Experienced with data validation, descriptive statistics, and hypothesis-driven analysis.Familiar with APIs, HTTP requests, and database querying (PostgreSQL).Comfortable working with regulated data and understanding of PII and compliance contexts.Experienced in behavioral research and eager to explore new tools and methods to enhance fraud prevention.Capable of working independently and in cross-functional teams.Able to write clear documentation and communicate technical concepts effectively.Familiar with iOS and macOS.Candidates must:Be eligible to work in Ireland.Have excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.Be available to work full-time in a hybrid modality in Cork, Ireland.It would be great if you had:Strong understanding of statistical concepts and methods.Familiarity with UI analysis, internal tools management, and onboarding/offboarding processes.Experience with Splunk, Tableau, Git, and JavaScript frameworks.A portfolio or examples of previous research or analytical work is a plus.A university degree in Statistics/Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analysis, Business Analytics, Psychology (Quantitative) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.More information:Specified Purpose Contract with possibility of extension (with 6-month probation period).Hybrid and full-time position in Cork, Ireland.Day shift from Monday to Friday.Benefit allowance.Birthday leave.10% discount on specific Company Healthcare Insurance.50% of the cost in shuttle services covered by RWS.Bike to Work scheme.If you are interested in the position and you fulfill the requirements, please hit "Apply" and complete your application.We look forward to hearing from you, thank you!Keywords: Data analyst jobs, Data analysis, UI Testing, Software Onboarding, IT jobs, RWS, Jobs in Cork, Cork jobs, Jobs in Ireland.
