Job Summary
The Sales Director will lead the development and implementation of sales strategies, drive new business growth, and oversee market analysis to inform decision-making. This senior role requires a proven track record as a director-level professional with exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and expansion.
* Analyse market trends and opportunities to inform business decisions.
* Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales performance.
* Design and implement training programs for new colleagues to ensure successful onboarding.
* Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders to drive sales growth and collaboration.
Requirements:
* Proven work experience at director level (2-3 years+ ideal).
* Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
* Experience with CRM software and planning/reporting tools.
* In-depth understanding of market structure and trends (ideal but not essential).
* Excellent negotiation and decision-making abilities.
* Degree in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field (ideal).
* Financial services or professional services background (ideally)
