I’m looking for a patient tutor to help my child start learning piano. The student is a beginner, age 8, with minimal prior exposure to music theory. I’d like lessons focusing on proper hand position, reading simple notes, and daily practice routines. Ideally, the tutor can incorporate short songs the child enjoys and provide homework sheets. Flexible schedule, but weekly sessions of about 1 hour would be perfect. Preference for a teacher who can work with a child in a friendly, encouraging style and can adapt to occasional travel for in-home sessions if needed.
