Junior Design Engineer A leader in the Agricultural Engineering market is now seeking a Junior Design Engineer in Tipperary THE COMPANY: Established for several decades, our client is a leading and highly recognisable manufacturer of agricultural machinery. Supplying equipment to customers across Ireland and international markets, they design and produce a wide range of solutions including slurry handling systems, feeding equipment, and grassland management machinery. With a continually expanding customer base in the farming and agricultural sectors, they are now seeking to appoint a talented Junior Design Engineer to join their growing team in County Tipperary The successful candidate will be site based in Tipperary and will have the following duties: Produce 3D models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor of equipment such as Slurry Tankers, Diet Feeders and Grassland Machinery. Drive continuous improvement initiatives of existing products in the Workshop as well as contributing to NPI projects. Deliver bespoke machinery designs specific for customer needs, ensuring functionality and compliance with agricultural standards. Collaborate with production, procurement and quality teams to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective and ready for manufacture. Providing engineering support during the build process, resolving technical queries and making design adjustments as needed. THE PERSON: We are looking to speak to candidates with the following backgrounds: A level 7/8 in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering is essential. Any Agricultural background/knowledge is very advantageous. Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks experience is needed.
