Responsibilities:
* Deliver English lessons according to our teaching standards, fostering students' engagement and confidence in the language.
* Teach 15–30 hours of English lessons (ECI syllabus) on five days per week, covering both morning and afternoon sessions.
* Prepare and deliver English lessons as assigned by the Centre Director of Studies (DoS), ensuring all required materials are available before class.
* Provide constructive feedback to students and assign/correct homework that encourages them to use English outside the classroom to gather information or complete tasks.
* Maintain accurate records of classes, attendance, student reports, and progress checks as required by the DoS/Senior Teacher.
Essential Qualifications:
* Primary Degree (minimum level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications, NFQ) from a recognized third-level institution or university.
* A recognized ESL/EFL qualification in English Language Teaching, approved or certified by ACELS/QQI.
* Experience working with teenagers is advantageous.
Working Hours:
* Five mornings per week – Monday to Friday (either 15 hours or 30 hours of teaching weekly depending on age-group taught)
* Optional Afternoon teaching work (on some schedules)
