Business / Data Analyst
We are looking for a Business / Data Analyst, focused on reporting, with a passion for learning, helping business partners, report design and data analysis.
11‑month contract – Ireland based.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with internal partners to identify, define, and clarify business requirements; translate needs into efficient reports and configurations that conform to standard methodologies and provide data‑driven insights.
* Utilize datasets to investigate key business trends, performance, issues, behaviors, and metrics.
* Build organization‑wide relationships to move initiatives forward and position ideas to enhance the likelihood of success.
* Develop technical expertise in various technologies, including reporting and analytics frameworks and security frameworks.
* Demonstrate business knowledge and expertise to uncover process gaps and work cross‑functionally to formulate plans to improve support models.
* Participate in organizational change and launch support processes.
* Facilitate review sessions with functional owners, domain specialists, and end‑user representatives.
* Coordinate and perform system testing to ensure requirements are met.
* Work closely with the project team during user acceptance testing (UAT); track issues through to resolution and secure end‑user acceptance sign‑off.
* Contribute to documentation, QA, and organization of our analytics tooling.
Requirements
* Workday Pro Financial Reporting Services Certification – must have.
* Workday Pro Prism Analytics Services Certification – must have.
* Scrum and Jira experience.
* Demonstrable understanding of business requirements gathering.
* Identify process gaps and provide improvements.
* Strong data analysis and data modeling skills, with the ability to interpret, structure, and visualize complex datasets.
* Experience integrating and analyzing data from multiple sources (e.g., Workday and other applications). Experience with Workday reporting and analytics tools is beneficial.
* Knowledge of process improvement and automation within financial or accounting workflows.
* Experience with system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), including issue tracking and validation.
