Our client is an innovative, sustainable, manufacturing business. With two state of the art manufacturing facilities in Ireland, they are looking for an
EHS Lead
to provide guidance and experience with all matters associated with environmental, health, safety, and compliance across the two sites in Ireland.
You will co-ordinate with all business units to develop, test, and refine EHS processes and practices. The EHS Lead will engage with key stakeholders to innovate and implement processes to deliver best working practices whilst supporting business growth and creating a culture of excellence within the organisation.
Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the EHS team across both sites.
* Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety legislation and planning.
* Management of ISO standards.
* Develop a risk management program and support business continuity planning.
* Develop environmental health and safety communications and campaigns.
* Develop high-risk work and ATEX controls.
* Support project and maintenance shutdowns to ensure compliance.
* Support the accident/incident investigation process to ensure that root cause can be implemented and robust corrective actions are completed.
* Coordinate all safety and compliance reporting both internally and externally.
* Coordinate the bi-annual Assurance Mapping process with the Coillte Group.
* Manage, coordinate, and communicate all aspects of the company's Integrated Management System (IMS).
* Manage the governance of both the internal and external audit program.
Experience
* Experience in ISO auditing.
* Strong planning experience - locally and nationally.
* Strong EPA experience.
* Commercial and regulatory acumen with a good understanding of the changing regulatory landscape.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Q-Pulse).
Desired Skills and Experience
* Experience in ISO auditing.

* Strong EPA experience.
* Commercial and regulatory acumen with a good understanding of the changing regulatory landscape.
