About this role:From these strong foundations W5 is growing and as the leader in customer experience consulting and measurement in the Irish market, we are looking to add to our team. We are seeking an exceptional, experienced person to enable and help drive this transition, building W5's profile in the market and strengthening the team's capabilities to truly innovate and make a difference for our valued clients.As part of our consulting team, you will have a role that gives you the opportunity to generate, lead, manage and contribute to a range of projects. You will use your personal, creative and business skills to provide objective advice and expertise that helps clients to develop the solutions, strategies and outcomes that they need.You will primarily be concerned with the customer, market and employee experience of a company. Your role is to analyse situations, review and analyse data, identify key strategic insights and work closely with our clients to propose and/or workshop recommendations for change, as well as advise on ways and means to implement solutions.As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to generate business, drive client advocacy and strengthen the profile of W5 as a thought leader in the customer and employee experience sector.You will primarily be concerned with customer insight and voice of the customer measurement and data analysis, customer experience design, employee experience measurement and engagement. Competency in reporting, customer journey mapping and C-suite level consulting is essential. As a Consulting Director you will have....• Deep customer experience capabilities and the skills to enrich the knowledge and its practical application, among our clients and team • Significant experience as a customer experience design consultant, ideally within a management consulting or specialist advisory firm• Knowledge and experience of marketing, research, business planning and brand positioning; and how these each interact with both customer experience and the broader business context• The ability to critically distil and translate complex and multifaceted data into insights and solutions; and to communicate these effectively to a broad range of client stakeholders• Excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills, including written and spoken communications, presentation, business development, proposal writing and financial management capabilities• The ability to build and maintain trusting and credible relationships with clients at all levels, and with credibility at C-suite• The ability to design and manage multiple projects, contributing significantly to each project content and structure of solutions. This will at times involve the use of different project management techniques and the application of design thinking• A proactive approach that anticipates and responds to changing situations and demands to achieve positive outcomes for our clients• An innovative approach to the development and sharing of IP and fresh thinking, and the use of digital tools and techniques• An ongoing commitment to deepening your own knowledge and capabilities across the sectors in which W5 operates• Leadership skills to develop others (both client and internal) by providing support and guidance on projects and in mentor roles.Responsibilities• Enable, support and empower clients to succeed with their customer strategy and in particular, the development of customer centric culture through customer experience design, development and execution• Become a voice of W5 in the external market, building networks and profile for the business, contributing to and evolving our esteemed position, contributing to the development of W5's positioning as an expert specialist consultancy in the CX field• Support the team to design and carry out research and data collection to understand clients' businesses, organisations and markets• Develop and manage client-facing projects end-to end, including proposal, design, delivery, analysis and reporting, drawing on respective capabilities within the W5 team to support your work• Structure and manage projects and programmes that deliver on client expectations, timelines and budgets• Facilitate customer journey mapping programmes and workshops• Conduct analysis of data, customer and market research to identify hypotheses, options and solutions• Design, run and report on qualitative and quantitative (organisational and market based) research• Present findings and recommendations to clients• Work closely with clients to guide implementation of recommendations/ solutions, • Liaise with the client to keep them informed of progress, raise challenges in a timely and constructive manner if needed, and make relevant decisions• Manage budgets, timelines and resources to deliver programmes of work to an exceptionally high standard for our clients, within budget and profit expectations.Skills• Strong analytical skills• Problem-solving and strategic planning ability• Expert facilitation and moderation skills are essential• Creativity, innovation and flexibility• Strong interpersonal communicator (both oral and written)• The ability to work as part of a team while also being a self-starter that takes ownership, sets direction and sees things through to completion• The ability to cope with pressure and multiple competing challenges• Commercial awareness and understanding of business environments• Proficiency in Microsoft suite (specifically in Excel, PowerPoint & Word) Note that this role is based in Dublin, Ireland and its holder will be expected to be on site in our offices and/or with clients several days per week.Seniority level Director Employment type Full-time Job function Consulting, Information Technology, and Sales Industries Business Consulting and Services
