The Payments Processing Analyst undertakes the complete and accurate capturing of payment transactions, ensuring that all payment-related information and relevant parties are processed according to established Service Level Agreement (SLAs) and industry guidelines. In addition, they should ensure that procedures are properly executed to reduce processing risk and identify potential areas for process improvement whether internally within the bank or for our clients. It often involves time critical, potentially complex or in some cases regulated tasks including interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

You will be part of the Deutsche Bank's Cash Management business; it has established itself as a leading global provider of transaction services to financial institutions. Holding the unique position as the world's largest Euro (EUR) clearer and a leading US Dollar (USD) clearer we provide integrated transaction banking solutions to a diverse client base across the globe. Deutsche Bank is the bank of choice for financial institutions and corporate clients seeking to consolidate transaction volumes.

Within Cash Operations in Deutsche Bank Dublin you will support the London branch, and support products such as BACS, Cheque clearing, Faster Payments and CHAPS.

Your key responsibilities

* Process BACS payments & Cheques accurately and within the agreed SLAs.
* Monitor payment queues and action transactions promptly.
* Follow Deutsche Banks' Internal Policies and audit requirements to maintain strong financial controls.
* Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
* Maintain reports, including updating daily reconciliations and management information on payment volume.
* Support testing and implementation of system updates.

Your skills and experience

* Good knowledge of/demonstrated interest in international clearing systems, messaging formats & SWIFT
* Educated to Bachelor's degree level in Business/Finance related discipline or equivalent qualification/work experience
* Strong organisational and analytical skills
* Ability to prioritise work while under pressure, both while supporting your team and /or independently in a dynamic environment to ensure assignments are completed with established deadlines
* Customer focused, proven ability to provide strong customer service, as well as a record of your capacity to follow through on issues to a satisfactory resolution
