Language Xchange Ireland is Ireland's largest Erasmus Plus partner company. Our programmes are tailored to meet the needs of students and teachers who wish to gain international English language experience and develop confidence speaking English in a business environment. In addition to learning English in a business environment, our programmes provide an opportunity to develop conversational English in fun, relaxing social environments. We have successfully hosted students from Germany, Austria, Italy, Poland, France, Slovenia, Portugal, Czech Rep., Slovakia, Croatia, Finland and Spain since 2009. We have partnered many Erasmus+ projects, as an Irish Partner.
The Role:
LXI are seeking an Area Supervisor in Kilcock, Co. Kildare. This is a part-time and very flexible role where 80% of the activities can be performed at your own schedule.
The role would be ideal for a person working remotely in Kilcock, a freelance worker, subsidising existing part-time work or a retired person who would like to remain active. Candidates should live in this location, and must have a car.
A strong local business network of contacts is desirable. It is an ideal position for a "peoples / sociable" person who likes working with others and meeting new people.
Responsibilities:
Our customer base is EU school groups of a teacher and students 17-21 yrs of age on English work placement programmes. Responsibilities of the Area Supervisor will include, but are not limited to, coordinating work placement programmes in their area, recruiting new work placement providers and host families, while maintaining a good rapport with existing providers and families.
Required:
* Excellent communication skills;
* Ability to work on own initiative;
* Sales experience advantageous;
* Must have own car.
