Duties and Responsibilities:
* To take day to day responsibility for children
* To work to high standards of care
* Ensure a good standard of hygiene
* Attend meetings and undertake training as required
* Adhere to Child Protection Policy of the service and report any concerns
* To develop ongoing positive relationships with parents
* Attend regular staff meetings
* Be able to take charge and direct children in case of an emergency
* Maintain strict confidentiality, any breach of confidentiality about children or their families will constitute gross misconduct
* Perform any other reasonable duties that may be assigned from time to time
Person Specifications
* Minimum 1 year's work experience in a similar role.
* English Intermediate or Higher level. (spoken and written)
* Ability to work on their own initiative.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Food Safety (training will be provided if you do not have it).
* Manual Handling (training will be provided if you do not have it).
* Fire Safety (training will be provided if you do not have it).
* Complete Garda Vetting (will be arranged by us).
* Drive Licence is desirable.
