BearingPoint Ireland has an exciting opportunity for an experienced
Cloud Data Architect
to join our growing Data Analytics & AI team. We are working with a wide range of clients, on a number of complex projects that are transforming the way business is being done in Ireland
Applicants should have the following skills / experience:
* Minimum of 5 years' experience as a data architect, working in both "on-prem" environment and Cloud environment, especially Microsoft and AWS technologies
* Advanced data modelling and architecture skills
* Proven experience with data integration tools such as SSIS, ADF, Kafka, Talend
* Proven ability to write automated scripts using PowerShell, SQL
* Good communication and language skills in the English language (presenting, documenting, workshopping)
* Experience managing stakeholders in a complicated environment
* Experience in the configuration and setup of database environments
* Experience of database design from an online, batch and reporting perspective
* 3rd level degree in IT related discipline
In addition to the above, the following skills / knowledge will be beneficial:
* Experience working with Power BI in a Fabric or Synapse Analytics environment.
* Experience with other analytics delivery platforms, such as Databricks, Spark, Snowflake. Redshift. etc.
* Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and AI tools.
* Knowledge of software delivery practices, modern delivery methodologies (incl. Agile) – i.e. the ability to understand how a delivery project works and the constraints that they are working in
* Experience with data governance frameworks and data security policies.
* Performance optimization of cloud data solutions.
