Due to staff progression, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Community Mental Health Nurse to work within the Older Adult Service based at Inverurie Hospital with the Aberdeenshire Health & Social Care Partnership. The post is based in Central Aberdeenshire providing care for individuals who have been referred from GP Practices in the expansive but picturesque catchment area. Car ownership and licence are a prerequisite for the post.
We are looking for a motivated and skilled practitioner who has sound assessment skills, ability to communicate well within a team, be able to work independently and have experience of multi-agency working. You should preferably have experience working with older adults, including functional and organic illnesses.
The successful candidate will manage a caseload under the supervision of the Team & Deputy Team Leader. Informal visits to the team are encouraged.
