The Assistant Accountant should be highly motivated, and improvement focused.Core role and responsibilities:Support with the production of accurate, complete and timely monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.Responsible for accrual and prepayment journals postings and supporting documentation.Manage the reconciliation of the bank and fixed assets register, including depreciation postings.Reconcile monthly intercompany balances.Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.Support the audit processMaintain and report loan balances between Group companies and interest payments.Bank reconciliations.Cash Reconciliation against various payment methods.Accounts Payable – Processing and Preparing Payment Runs.Qualifications:Completed IATI/ACCA/CIMA or currently studying 1st/2nd stageProficient with Microsoft Word, ExcelStrong communications skillsStrong planning and time management skillsStrong problem solving and analytical skills.Motivated and improvement focused.What we can offer:Monday - Friday Days working pattern23 days' holiday + Bank Holidays - increasing with long serviceCompany Pension schemeShopping discounts with Perks at Work24 hours access to Employee Assistance ProgrammeVolunteering DayEmployee support network and mental health assistanceOpportunity for career progression
