Saint John of God Communith Mental Health Services Lucena Clinic and Cluain Mhurie Services Saint John of God Community Mental Health Services provides a community-based Mental Health Service for Children and Young People at local Lucena Clinic's based in several locations from Tallaght to Arklow.
Adults have a community based Service at Cluain Mhuire in Blackrock, Co Dublin serving the population of South East County Dublin/ Greater Dun Laoghaire.
Health & Safety Officer (Grade V: Permanent, Full-Time) The Health & Safety Officer will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Safety Management and Regulation Programme for Saint John of God Community Mental Health Services, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and regulations.
The successful applicant will have: Obtained, at a minimum, QQI Level 7 qualification in Workplace Safety, Health and Welfare.
A minimum of 2 years current and relevant experience in a similar environment.
Demonstrable working knowledge of current health and safety, environmental, fire safety and associated legislations and regulations.
Excellent administrative and communications skills with proven track record of working with a variety key stakeholders.
Demonstrable experience of the application and implementation of safety standards, regulations and procedures in a large organisation and be responsible for the Saint John of God Safety and Regulation Programme ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff in compliance with safety, health, welfare regulation which supports the needs of St John of God Community Mental Health Services.
Access to their own transport and have a full clean driving licence.
Remuneration Salary Grade **** GRADE V (CLERICAL)on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale €51,718 - €61,866 per annum pro rata Initial location The initial location of this role is in Blackrock, Co.
Dublin.
However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CAMHS other places of business or/and the premises of such associated companies or organisations as SJOG CAMHS may require.
You will be given as much notice of any such change of place of work as is reasonably practicable.
