Shift pattern: Rotational shifts – days and nights covering Monday to Thursday
Salary: €60,262 + shift allowance and benefits
The Role
As a Senior Operations Maintenance Technician, you will ensure that all automated plant and equipment are serviced and repaired to recognised standards, delivering minimal downtime and maintaining operational efficiency. This is a hands-on role that requires initiative, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage and communicate effectively within a busy operational environment.
Please note, this will be shift / team leader role; to be considered, you must have proven experience of running a shift team, ensuring the efficient, safe & continuous operation of all equipment. Leading and motivating a team to meet goals.
Key responsibilities include:
* Coordinating maintenance activities to ensure safe and timely completion of work.
* Monitoring team performance, attendance, and workflow to maintain operational standards.
* Liaising with operational managers, team leaders, and control room staff to resolve technical issues.
* Ensuring all equipment is maintained, repaired, and returned to service efficiently.
* Completing maintenance documentation accurately and on time.
* Maintaining compliance with all site safety and operational procedures.
You will have:
* City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
* Strong background in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance.
* Knowledge of 17th or 18th Edition electrical regulations.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings.
* Understanding of PLC-controlled systems.
* Good awareness of health and safety standards. xyswxtq
