Account Manager Job Description
The main responsibilities for the Account Manager are to drive sales of our medical laboratory services to hospitals, clinics, and all healthcare professionals throughout Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a background in Clinical Diagnostic/Medical Science and be able to identify the needs of both new and existing customers to support their success using our laboratory services. This will involve developing effective communication with clients and internal team members to understand and resolve any issues they face. The role requires a true team player capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure an industry-leading service experience. Specific tasks include sales activities, account management & relationships, and administration & finance.
Additional main responsibilities include:
* Leading the strategic development of laboratory services and products offered by Eurofins Clinical Diagnostics.
* Growing the company's sales of laboratory services and products.
* Leading the strategic development of medical pathology services offered by Eurofins Clinical Diagnostics.
* Building strong relationships with customers through regular site visits and meetings to understand their needs and develop the business further.
Working Hours: 39 per week
Qualifications
Education
* A recognized third-level qualification in biological sciences, healthcare, or a related discipline.
OR
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related role.
Experience
* At least 3 years of indirect sales and/or key account management experience, ideally in health services or a related industry.
* Proven ability to respond successfully to commercial tenders.
* Previous experience working in a medical laboratory would be a distinct advantage.
Licences/Certifications
* Full, clean, valid driving license.

* Exceptional business planning and key account management skills, excellent relationship-building qualities, and the ability to work autonomously.
