Our team combines innovation with practical construction expertise to deliver projects safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.We are now recruiting an experienced Site Manager to join our team on an exciting project based in Cluny, Co. Sligo where you will be utilising MMC, modern methods of construction, in a fully onsite role.The Site Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating site operations on assigned projects under the direction of the Project Manager. Ensures safe, timely and cost-effective delivery of construction works, maintaining quality and compliance with all HSEQS standards. Pro-actively leading the site team to achieve project objectives .ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day construction activities on site to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and within budgetSupervise the onsite team, providing leadership and direction on all operational mattersEnsure adherence to health, safety, environmental and quality standards in line with company proceduresPlan and coordinate the sequence of activities on site, liaising with the extended project team to maintain programme objectivesMonitor progress and performance of sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with contract requirements and project standardsMaintain comprehensive site records including Temporary Works Registers, daily diaries, quality documentation and HSEQS logsIdentify operational risks and escalate as requiredLead site briefings, toolbox talks and coordination meetings to communicate priorities, tasks and safety requirementsAssist in cost control by supporting the site and project teams in efficient use of resources and materialsMentor and develop junior site staff to build capability and maintain a high-performance cultureExperienceProven experience in site management across medium to large-scale projectsStrong leadership skills with the ability to supervise multi-level site teamsKnowledge of subcontractor management and industrial relationsAbility to make informed decisions under pressure to maintain programme and operational performanceComprehensive understanding of construction methods, trade requirements and codes of practiceStrong organisational skills with the ability to plan, monitor and prioritise site activitiesEffective communication skills to engage with colleagues, sub- contractors and project teamsKnowledge of health, safety, environmental and quality management practicesWorking experience of modular or MMC (modern methods of construction) preferred but not requiredRequiredQualificationsTrade or technical background with substantial site management experienceTemporary works and excavation safety trainingWorking at heights and scaffolding trainingLifting and cranage operations trainingOther HSEQS training as required by site HSE planUnderstanding of BIM strategy and new construction technologyDesirableProject management qualification or courseRelevant degree in construction or engineeringAdditional InformationVision Built, a Sisk Company, offers a rewarding career within a collaborative and innovative environment.Our people are recognised for their contribution through the Sisk Rewards & Recognition programme, supporting excellence, performance and growth across the business.All vacancies are managed directly by our Internal Recruitment Team.
