Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver comprehensive, goals-based financial planning and wealth strategies, including needs assessments.
2. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the firm's planning tools, techniques, and strategies.
3. Establish and maintain relationships with management, and inform them of circumstances requiring supervisory review or approval per compliance policies.
4. Source prospective clients and leverage referrals.
5. Provide customized solutions utilizing the full resources of Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
6. Understand and execute all aspects of a successful practice, completing necessary training and development.
Required Skills
* FINRA Series 7 & 66 (or Series 63 & 65 in lieu of 66) registrations, with 5+ years of experience.
* Established and portable practice with at least $1 million in production.
* Experience managing client portfolios and driving growth.
* Proven relationship-building and business development skills.
Desired Skills
* Bachelor’s degree or higher is strongly preferred.
* Ability to partner and promote lead generation.
* Experience balancing investment management, sales, and new client development.
* Additional professional designations such as CFP or CRPC are a plus.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Highly entrepreneurial mindset.
