Our client is a leading financial services firm with HQ based in Dublin City Centre.
They have a new opening for an experienced compliance and risk professional to join their supplier due diligence and third-party risk management team.
The role will sit within a procurement and governance function responsible for overseeing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining robust risk management practices across the organisation.
Main Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end supplier due diligence process, ensuring effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of third-party risks.
Coordinate subject matter expert reviews for higher-risk supplier engagements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of risk assessments, due diligence findings, and remediation plans.
Validate business responses to risk assessments, ensuring completeness and alignment with required risk controls.
Support business stakeholders throughout the due diligence process, providing clear guidance on requirements and timelines.
Oversee the timely closure of remediation actions and ensure risks are managed within defined tolerances.
Collaborate with key internal teams to ensure a consistent and efficient approach to supplier onboarding and risk oversight.
Identify and contribute to opportunities for process improvement and automation within the third-party risk framework.
Requirements:
Third-level qualification.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in risk management, compliance, or operational risk, preferably within the financial services sector.
Understanding of third-party risk management (TPRM) and supplier due diligence frameworks in a regulated environment.
Experience leading or supporting teams in supplier risk or governance roles.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively across different business areas and senior levels.
Experience developing or enhancing governance frameworks or risk processes.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and manage change effectively.
