Your New Role
As a Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all contracts related to our construction projects. You will ensure that all contractual obligations are met, risks are mitigated, and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing and negotiating contracts with stakeholders
2. Administering contracts and ensuring compliance
3. Managing change orders and resolving disputes
4. Identifying and mitigating potential risks
5. Monitoring project costs and optimising resource allocation
6. Ensuring adherence to contractual specifications and industry standards
7. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
8. A minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Contracts Manager in the construction industry
9. Strong knowledge of construction contracts, legal terms, and industry-specific regulations
10. Excellent negotiation and communication skills
11. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
12. Proven ability to manage multiple contracts and meet deadlines
13. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
14. Leadership and team management experience
15. Relevant qualifications in construction management, law, or a related field
