Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for a CNC Machinist specializing in woodworking cutting and drilling, based in Castlebellingham. Responsibilities include setting up and operating CNC routers to create high-quality components for bespoke furniture and specialist joinery. The machinist will be involved in machining, milling, and ensuring quality control throughout the production process. Tasks also include maintaining machinery, adhering to safety standards, and collaborating with the team to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
Proficiency in woodworking machine operation, tool changing and setting essential.
Woodwop and Alphacam profficient
Strong skills in Machining and Milling processes
Skilled in beam saw, edge banding and other drilling equipment a distinct advantage.
Experience in Machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
HOMAG experience beneficial but not essential.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finished products
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Prior experience in a woodworking or joinery production environment is an asset, particularly face frame kitchen production
Proactive approach to health and safety in a manufacturing setting
