About The Job
Harvey Norman has recently re-launched Homewares and its an exciting time to come on board and seize the opportunity to work with a creative and talented team.
The role of the HSA is to maximise sales and profit by meeting the needs of the customer. A successful assistant has excellent product knowledge, provides outstanding customer service, creates a great shopping experience for the customer and is, above all else, dedicated to the role. This role is crucial for making Harvey Norman a great place to shop. You will be fully supported with both sales and product training.
YOUR JOB Your Tasks Will Include
* Work as a part of the Harvey Norman Sales team to ensure high standards of presentation; positioning Harvey Norman store as the first choice for Homewares.
* Maintain in store display concepts so they have a strong visual impact and are well presented at all times.
* Provide solid product knowledge & information to customers.
* Be familiar with current sales, advertising campaigns, and company initiatives.
* Continuously meet and exceed sales targets set to stand out in a team as a high performer, whilst creating an exceptional customer experience.
* Follow all company procedures in regard to paperwork and store procedures.
* Maintain the sales floor to company standards.
* Assist with the organisation of various in-store promotions.
* Daily stock replenishment on shop floor.
* Other duties that may be required from time to time to fulfil your role
YOUR PROFILE Your Knowledge, Skills, And Experience Will Include
* Experience and Qualifications - Ideally have retail experience, but not essential as excellent product training will be provided.
* Customer Orientated Desire to exceed customers expectations.
* Attention to Detail Have a keen eye for detail and display alongside accuracy.
* Team & Collaborative Working Works co-operatively and is a supportive member of the team. Actively helps and supports others to achieve team goals.
* Industry & Product Knowledge You have a passion for learning about Harvey Norman products and keep up to date with new developments in the Homewares department.

Additional Information
* This is a part time - 11 month Fixed Term Contract with the potential for permanency.
* We need employees to be flexible about when they work, covering store opening hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
* The successful candidate will be required to attend a company induction day.
