Night Auditor – Hilton Dublin Kilmainham (Full-time)
Objective of the Role
To provide excellent service to our guests by assisting the Front Office Team throughout the night shift in relation to hotel and guest security, reception duties as well as maintaining high standards of cleanliness & sanitization throughout the hotel.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
* Reception duties including check in / check out
* Ensure all guests queries are handled promptly and efficiently
* Completing the night audit for the hotel and overall operations of the hotel
* Ensure regular night‑shift duties are completed including Room Service, residents bar and cleaning duties
* Assist the Night Manager in implementing and enforcing financial controls throughout the front office
* Set up and clean meeting rooms as required
* Clean all public areas
* Ensure effective handover to the day Reception shift
* General basic maintenance reporting for the day shift
* Organise and distribute luggage for group departures
* Responsible for cleaning & sanitization of the hotel’s lobby, back office, stairways, restaurant and bar floor, public and staff areas and meeting rooms
* Responsible for cleaning & sanitization of other areas as directed by the manager on duty and as per nightly checklist (e.g., meeting rooms, breakfast area)
* Ensure the front entrance and outside of the hotel are clean and tidy at all times, including emptying bins and picking up rubbish
* Adhere fully to departmental safety guidelines for employees and guests
* Check in and out hotel guests in a friendly and efficient manner
* Assist guests with luggage/porterage or any other guest requirement
Requirements
* Work independently and as part of a team
* Warm, friendly and approachable personality when dealing with staff and guests
* Fully fluent in written and spoken English
Hours Of Work
* Night role commencing 11pm – finishes 07:30am
* 4-5 nights per week with flexibility across a 7‑day roster
* Includes weekends, bank holidays, etc.
The Ideal Candidate
* Friendly, approachable manner and strong communication skills
* Excellent organisational skills
* Previous relevant experience in a 3* or 4* hotel, including night audit experience
* Excellent written and oral communication
* Hands‑on attitude to work
* Eligible to work full‑time all year round; visa restrictions not allowed
* Fluency in English
* Exceptional customer care and problem‑resolution skills
