Job Description
Job Title: HR Generalist
Reports to: HR Manager
What You'll Do:
* Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Manage payroll processing and benefits administration, including pensions and EAP.
* Prepare HR reports and support employee lifecycle activities like exit interviews.
* Facilitate internal communications, attendance monitoring, and welfare activities.
* Assist in developing performance management and learning initiatives.
* Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
* Ensure compliance with legal and company policies, updating HR policies as needed.
* Maintain HR systems and accurate employee data.
* Oversee attendance tracking and contribute to process improvements.
* Participate in meetings and represent the HR team proactively.
Who we are looking for:
* Hands-on experience with payroll software (e.g., Sage), HRIS systems, and related IT applications.
* Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Demonstrates confidentiality, professionalism, and a keen attention to detail.
* Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
* Experience working within the NGO sector is a plus but not essential.
Hours: The position is Part-time (4 days / 30 hours per week)
Salary: €44,000 - €46,900 FTE
Holidays Days plus additional time off over the Christmas period.
