Reservations Agent
to join our team.
The Role
As a Reservations Agent, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests. You'll play a key role in maximising room sales, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring a smooth booking experience from enquiry to arrival.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities
* Handle all reservation enquiries via phone, email, and online systems
* Process bookings accurately using the hotel's reservation system
* Provide guests with information about rooms, rates, packages, and hotel facilities
* Upsell rooms, packages, and hotel services where appropriate
* Manage modifications, cancellations, and special requests
* Liaise with Front Office, Housekeeping, and Sales teams to ensure smooth operations
* Maintain accurate guest records and payment details
* Deliver a professional and friendly guest experience at all times
Requirements
* Previous experience in hotel reservations, front office, or customer service preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent telephone manner
* Good computer skills (experience with hotel booking systems is an advantage)
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility with shifts, including weekends if required (Mon to Friday normally)
