Head Chef Position
The ideal candidate will lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring the delivery of consistently high-quality food while maintaining the highest standards in food safety, hygiene, and operational efficiency.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service across all shifts.
2. Lead, mentor, and develop the kitchen team to ensure consistency and high performance.
3. Design and develop innovative, seasonal menus that reflect the brand and clientele.
4. Manage stock levels, ordering, and food cost controls in line with targets.
5. Uphold HACCP and food safety standards to full compliance.
6. Collaborate with management on event and banquet planning as needed.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Head Chef in a hotel or high-volume, quality-driven restaurant.
* Excellent leadership and people management skills.
* Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety legislation, and kitchen best practices.
* Creative, with a passion for producing high-quality dishes.
* Strong financial acumen and experience managing food costs and stock.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
