Logistics and Purchasing Specialist
Your new company is a leading provider of Accessories, Hosiery, Luggage, Gifts, and Jewellery in Ireland and the UK.
Due to exceeding growth within their business, they are looking for a Logistics and Purchasing Specialist to join their team.
* Process Purchase Orders, to match agreed product prices and discounts if any.
* Product setup including descriptions, dimensions, and weight etc.
* Liaise with Product Coordinators / Designers.
* Coordinate shipping schedule and deliveries with the suppliers.
* Liaise with the Shipping Agents / Forwarders to ensure proper documents are provided for Customs clearance and follow-up queries.
* Update shipping intake schedules from time to time.
* Cost Valuation.
* Answer phone calls adhoc tasks.
Requirements
* Experience of using ERP systems.
* A 'Can Do' attitude and ability to work on own initiative.
* Good interpersonal skills and high level of customer service.
* Previous experience in Shipments/Imports/Exports would be an advantage.
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills especially Excel reporting.
* Strong numerical skills / attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Flexible and adaptable.
