Job Description
The position will be based in the new National Childrens Hospital, it will be a client facing role with the primary goal of developing and managing the delivery of our electrical maintenance and small project works, primarily on a single healthcare site.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians and supporting staff, as part of a collaborative team, to successfully deliver cutting edge projects and minor works required within a live healthcare environment.
Candidates will have a proven record delivering of electrical minor works projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, on time and within budget, with experience of managing multidisciplined projects a distinct advantage.
Candidates should be commercially and contractually competent with a good understanding of project P&L, with strong experience in live working environments.
Requirements
* Relevant third level qualification desirable (Electrical/ Building Services Engineering or similar) but not essential.
* Trade background for this role would be advantageous
* Knowledge of electrical requirements in the building services environment essential
* Knowledge of healthcare facilities sector advantageous
* 2 Years leadership experience or substantial engineering support or project management experience in a team-based environment is required.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing and presentation skills essential.
* Individual must possess strong leadership skills, proven ability to coach and mentor individuals in technical skills and people development areas. The individual should enjoy working in a dynamic and results driven team-based environment with flexibility essential.
