Job Summary
Funbugs Childcare is looking for an Early Years Educator to join our team.
The successful candidate must have the following:
* A genuine love of children, their development and learning abilities.
* Be fun and creative, have a good use of own initiative and the ability to build strong relationships with Staff, children and Parents alike.
* Knowledge of Aistear, Síolta, Tusla regulations, diversity and equality and attendance record keeping ensuring best practice at all times.
* Be able to plan a child-led play based emergent curriculum based on the children's individual needs. In addition, plan and co-ordinate an inclusive environment.
* Be an effective team member that can work well as an individual and also as part of a team.
* The ability to liase confidently with Parents to encourage Parental involvement and help children develop to the best of their abilities.
* Must be willing to upskill their professional development on a continuous basis.

Hours worked are based on a rotation of shifts from 7.30am to 6pm.
Tea break in the morning is fully paid.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Fetac/ QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood and Care and Education or Social Care Studies (awarded before Higher qualification is an advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €15.00-€18.50 per hour
