Career Vision Recruiters are seeking an ambitious, dynamic, and self‑motivated Food & Beverage Manager for a prestigious 4‑star hotel in Clare. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a busy bar, restaurant, and banqueting operation, ensuring exceptional service with a personal touch.
Main Duties
* Work closely with the hotel’s management team on the day‑to‑day running of this busy property.
* Manage all aspects of the hotel while on duty, taking a hands‑on approach wherever assistance is needed.
* Lead and support the food & beverage departments, including bar, restaurant, conference, banqueting, and events operations.
* Provide staff training and development to build skilled, motivated, and high‑performing teams.
* Drive sales initiatives in conjunction with the hotel’s in‑house sales team.
* Cover duty management shifts within the hotel property.
* Ensure excellent service is consistently provided to all guests and visitors.
* Oversee rostering, forecasting, budgeting, stock control, and operational efficiency.
* Collaborate with other Heads of Department to maintain and improve hotel standards.
Requirements / Candidate Profile
* Minimum 23 years experience in a similar role within busy 3‑ or 4‑star hotels.
* Strong knowledge of the food & beverage industry, including new initiatives and innovations.
* HACCP trained.
* Hands‑on and willing to assist in all areas of the hotel as needed.
* Previous experience with hotel front‑office systems is beneficial.
* Experience across food & beverage, conference, banqueting, and events management.
* Strong people management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Flexible with early/late shifts and able to multitask under pressure.
