Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated healthcare professional with prior experience in an IVF or fertility clinic setting. The role will involve supporting patients throughout their fertility journey, assisting in our state-of-the-art theatre, and working closely with our clinical and embryology teams.
Full training will be provided in all aspects of the role, with ongoing support and professional development opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Performing phlebotomy and handling patient samples with accuracy and care
* Supporting patients during procedures and consultations
* Assisting in theatre, ensuring the highest standards of infection control and patient safety
* Collaborating with the wider clinical and laboratory teams to deliver seamless patient care
* Maintaining accurate records in line with clinic policies and regulations
About You
* QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support (or equivalent qualification in a health & welfare domain) with core modules: Care Skills, Care of the Older Person, and Safety & Health at Work
* Previous experience working in an IVF or fertility clinic is essential
* Qualified and experienced in phlebotomy
* Excellent communication and patient care skills
* Fluency in English is essential
* Garda vetting, occupational health clearance, and up-to-date immunisations will be required
* Strong attention to detail, ability to work as part of a team, and a compassionate approach to patient care
